Bio and ISCO chemical injections

CPI Geologic offers the implementation of Treatability Testing (bench-scale study) to determine the best option for In-Situ remediation. One of the options considered is In-Situ Chemical Oxidation (ISCO) soil and/or groundwater remediation chemical injection as an oxidation agent. A second option is injecting water soluble oils enhancing anaerobic bioremediation conditions. These methods are used for soil and/or groundwater remediation to reduce the concentrations of targeted environmental contaminants to acceptable levels.

A pilot test will evaluate the effectiveness of the chosen reagent and it will be evaluated as a means to provide rapid mass reduction of the Chemical of Concern (COC) such as chlorinated solvents and other VOCs. The field-scale pilot test will be conducted by injecting the reagent solution into the subsurface at selected locations to address impacted groundwater. The pilot test injection points will be designed to an estimate the radius of influence (ROI) for future injection point.
